Off the Grid Festival - April 21st

FUN Society is excited to be partnering with YesBC on this great climate action and music extravaganza! High school students from all around the CRD will come together for a morning of climate action workshops and an afternoon of great local music and art, headlined by local musical talent - Jon and Roy!

LIVING FUTURE Conference - Apr. 27-29

FUN Society is excited to announce that it will be running its first environmental conference for youth, in partnership with Cascadia Green Building Council. A FUN Camps-style conference for 6 - 16 year olds will run parallel to Cascadia’s Living Future Conference, with some overlap between the youth track and the larger conference.

FUN Society winner of Prestigious Recycling Council of BC MOBI Award

We are pleased to announce that we have been selected as the winner of the Non-Profit Sector for the prestigious RCBC MOBI Awards. These awards recognize organizations in the community that are making a significant environmental difference. The award will be received by Founder, Maia Green, at a ceremony in Whistler on May 26th.

FUN Society winner of BC Hydro Community Champion Award

We are pleased to announce that we have been granted a BC Hydro Community Champion Award for our charitable work in the community. We were nominated by the students at Kitsilano Secondary School and are honoured to be a recipient of this award.

CKNW contributes $1000 to FUN Camps Scholarship Program

FUN Society is excited to announce that CKNW Orphan’s Fund has contributed $1000 towards our FUN Camps Scholarship Program. 5 more youth will be able to attend FUN Camps who otherwise would not have had such an opportunity.
