2010 SCHEDULE

July 5 - 9  - Ecofootprint - Footprint scavenger hunt, grow sprouts in a jar and battle eco-villains.

July 12 - 16  - Energy - Build and race a solar car, harness the power of the wind and create energy from scratch.

July 19 - 23  - Food - Make a pizza, cook brownies with a solar oven and visit a local farm.

July 26 - 30  - Amazing Race - Build a sustainable city, beach challenges and learn to shoot lightning bolts.

Aug 3 - 6  - Transportation - A city-wide scavenger hunt, bike maintenance workshop and wacky adventure races.

Aug 9 - 13  - Nature - Build forts in the woods, plant your own seed and make your own moss paint.

Aug 16-20  - Water - Slip and slide, beach creature feature and make music with water.

Aug 23 - 27  - Enviro-Survivor - Make a mask, team cheer-offs, and plenty of enviro-challenges where saving the planet (and possibly other treats) will be your prize.

FUN Camps 2010 is themed!!!

During every week of FUN Camps you will become an Eco-SuperHero by playing crazy games, solving challenges, creating your own exciting project and doing lots of crafts and sports. There will also be hiking, swimming, tee-shirt making and surprise out-trips each week.

The underlying theme of lowering your ecological footprint and learning how to live sustainably within a city setting... and of course FUN... will be the basis of all the camps.

All camps will include swimming, hiking, arts, sports, crafts and will be held outside as much as possible.

All camps are located at UBC in Vancouver, and Windsor Park Pavilion in Victoria, and run Monday to Friday, from 9am-4pm
